Geocache Description:

Along a long forgotten path of some long forgotten stairs.

Long ago (Okay KeithTS, for you, "or NOT SO LONG AGO" *smile*) there was a school, the Third Ward School (name was also later changed to Bartlett School), that was located along Farwell St. There were many kids that came from the Third Ward along with kids that came from up on the hill, up the Plank Street Hill (what is now Main St. or Harding Ave. depending on your source) To help the kids get to school there were some stairs built into the hill and a brick road.

The school has long since been demolished. The Old Family Medicine Clinic (that has also moved) and Park apartments was built where the school stood. However, the old brick road is still there as are the stairs that the city has once rebuilt. The cache is off the brick road and down (or up) the stairs depending on how you go along a secluded path in the middle of it all.

Please be advised, if you approach from above, you will have to park by houses. Secrecy is advised.
