Years ago, "new" Route 53 ended at Route 68 but there was some unused pavement and an unused entrance ramp north of Route 68. On this ramp and directly west of the cache is where a 2-3 second segment was filmed. The clip was of an Illinois state police car becoming airborne and crashing through the side of a semi trailer. It was done with scaffolding and a temporary launch ramp. My wife and I witnessed the filming and I always thought it was pretty cool that it was filmed so close to home.
