Geocache Description:

A Bailey bridge that was begging to have a cache hidden on it. Bring your own pencil. Read the hint if you do not have 30 minutes to search.

At the entrance to the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC) is a display commemorating the 100th anniversary of Canadian Military Engineering in 2003. The display is made up of a Sherman tank named “Athene”, crossing a double span Bailey bridge. Historic military hardware situated at the entrance to a base, are referred to as being on “Sentry” duty. It is interesting that the bridge crosses an active creek.

There is a sign requesting that you do not climb on the monument. Don't worry, no climbing is required for this cache.
