Couglt had a good point. Depending on how long your legs are might effect your pace count. I am 5' 11" and after I completed this one I took my wife back and had her run it. She is 5' tops. With her pace count she kept comming up 10 to 20 paces short. So I adjusted the paces in between what she got and what I orginal got.
I think the clues will keep you on track though.
For all you letter box hunters out there, beware. I was attempting to put a "Stampin Up" stamp pad and stamp in this cache.......but my wife caught me......so no stamp right now. When I find one that fits I will put one in. Thanks
Starting at the "Starting cords" walk down 26 steps. Walking at a normal gate (30 inch step) counting each time your LEFT foot hits the ground (That = a pace) go 15 paces turn left
and go 12 paces you will pass under a bridge.
Then turn left and go 98 paces, you will pass some stairs and turn slightly to the right and cross the creek. now that that is done.
Turn left and go 44 paces staying on the side walk, bear to the right and go 22 paces.
Bear to the left and pass the phenoix.
go 88 more paces and turn left at the "Farmers Market Sign Post".
go 30 paces, this should put you in the middle of the wooden bridge. Now cross the small wooden foot bridge.
Go another 89 paces and bear slightly to the left and go 7 more paces. STOP!!!
Count the Large Nuts that you see. Look all the way around. (Nuts NOT Bolts) Take the number of nuts and add 71 this gives you the number of paces you need to walk in the direction of the pointy steeple nearest you.
Walk off that pace count and STOP. (Stay on Sidewalk) Look around and find the number "1808" carved in stone. Near this you will find the letter box hidden directly under the number "1907" The leter box is in a small container in the bush.
It contains a log book. It can hold small trinkets.
Please watch out for muggles!!!!
