This cache is one of five (to date) placed at Pearrygin Lake State Park with the approval and encouragement of the Chief Ranger at the park. In addition to normal Geocachers (is that an oxymoron?) other park guests who have GPSr receivers will be encouraged to seek these hides and may even become interested in the sport. You now need a Discovery pass for four caches.6/1/05
Too many DNF's, it isn't supposed to be that difficult. We averaged 100 readings with our 60C and made a minor tweak to the coords (original coords were .308 and .934) Hope this helps, and remember the terrain rating! 9/29/05 This was never intended to be as difficult as it has turned out to be. We are raising its star rating to 3.
Having an extra elbow could be helpful. Not visible without exceeding the terrain rating, feel for it.
