Alongside an unadopted rather bumpy road
Pen-y-Ball Top is what looks like an ancient monument, but in fact it commemorates the marriage, coronation and silver jubilee of George V. It also has an excellent view, from the Clwydian Range to the Dee estuary. There are houses directly opposite, so you will need to be careful to avoid inquisitive eyes!
