"Where the Charles River makes a nearly 180-degree twist in the valley, a wooded shoreline of birch, hemlock, and beech conceals an upland peninsula that rises gently to a 20-acre open field, which has been farmed for more than a century. A narrow footpath tracks the river along the Reservation's shoreline, while the field's highest point offers views of the Charles River. An old wooden railroad trestle is visible at the western end of the Reservation. Charles River Peninsula plays an important role in protecting the beauty and environmental value of the upper Charles River corridor. "
When you get to the field, stop and listen to the birds. The narrow path referred to above is marked with yellow diamonds and the places where it enters and exits the field are marked with grey posts. At both stages #1 and #2 you will obtain one item that is needed at stage #3. When you get there you will have everything you need to obtain the coordinates without having to disturb the setup. Please leave the items you have collected in the final cache and we will replace them in their original hiding places when we feel the supply is running low.
This cache setup may not work in the Winter because ice may stop it from functioning properly.
Please take only 1 item for your group at stages 1 and 2.
