Aufnahmenprüfung an. Seine Leistungen in Physik und Mathematik
waren ausgezeichnet.
Swiss-Grid:
(a, b).
Der cache ist bei (a + x – 88), (b – x + 76) in den Wurzeln
eines Baumstumpfes versteckt.
Koordinaten der Kirchen / co-ordinates of the
churches
Lenzburg: N 47°23.283' / E008°10.759'
Veltheim: N 47°26.291' / E008°08.838'
Hunzenschwil: N 47°23.036' / E008°07.355'
To be able to study at the Swiss Polytechnic (the later ETH) in
Zurich also without Matura (i.e. A-levels) , Albert Einstein had to
take a college entrance exam in October 1895. His performance in
physics and mathematics was excellent. The performances in some of
the other tested areas however were not sufficient. Albert Einstein
did not pass the exam!
Subsequently he followed the advice the director Polytechnikum
and went to the Kantonsschule in Aarau to close the gap in his
knowledge. In September 1896 he successfully passed his Matura in
written and oral from. In October 1896 he began to study at the
Swiss Polytechnic. This all plays before he published his paper on
the special relativity.
Therefore Sametime is also a-non-relativistic cache. It is
devoted to the canton of Aargau that enabled Alberts study at
ETH.
In situations where speed is very high (close to light speed) or
where distances are very large (light years) the concept of “events
happening at the same time” does not make sense any more (you will
see this in a later cache)
Now you certainly like to know, where the hell is the cache.
Imagine, it were shortly before noon. The bells of the churches of
Lenzburrg, Veltheim and Hunzenschwil begin to ring at exactly the
same time. It is 20°C (velocity of sound v=343m/s).
If you stand closely aside Einstein, you start to hear the bells
of Lenzburg, 880 milisekonds later you hear the bells of Veltheim
and again 1.819 seconds later (after the bells of Veltheim) you
hear the sound of the bells of Hunzenschwil. With this information
you should be able to determine the position of Einstein on your
desk. Finding the right place experimentally would be much more
complicated and very expensive.
If you finally have found Einstein, he tells you first a first
3-dgit number (x). Then ask Einstein for his co-ordinates in
Swiss-Grid (a, b)
The cache is at (a + x – 88), (b – x + 76) under a stump.
