Cache (2020 - clear "Lock-n-Lock" container) is located just off the parking lot (48° 47.888N, 086° 37.333W) for a scenic overlook off the Trans-Canada Highway (Hwy 17). The picnic area overlooks Lake Superior above Ney's Provincial Park. The lookout parking lot is small with basically no room to turn around with a trailer - so no trailers, please. From this scenic overlook, you can see Lake Superior to the south.
Ney's Provincial Park to the south, the main Canadian Pacific Railway line to the southwest and the highway bridge over the Little Pic River to the northwest. Great place to watch the trains go by.
Take time to visit Ney's Provincial Park. This park was originally a German Prisoner of War Camp during World War II. Visit the visitor's centre in the park to find out more about the life at this prisoner of war camp.
