A travel through Alien abduction country in the central farmlands of Maine.
For Planet Melmac you get to travel to an area most people will never have a reason to go through, deep central-Maine. Allot of farms and open road will lead you through an area where I imagine aliens might fancy fiddling with some livestock organs, or probing the farmer's daughter, eh? I would get off the interstate at Pittsfield and take 152 & 151 to get to Athens where the cache is. This is a pretty simple cache, I felt like warming up with this one for the summer and filling a spot on the Maine map where there weren't any caches around. As long as everybody screws the cap on tight, this cache should stay water-tight, it's a 1-gallon igloo container. You might want to bring an alien-oriented item to trade into the cache. If you're in Athens at the right time of the year you should visit the Sites farm on the Joaquin rd for Strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and eggs.
