This is on one of the National Trust estate woodland trails at Brockhampton nr Bromyard. Usually muddy, and some parts can be steep for short distances.Boots recommended. Not buggy or wheelchair accessible.
This was our second ever cache find, so we are pleased to adopt and re-enable it. We have replaced the cache and moved the location slightly. We have also added an alternative (free) parking location which mean the cache can be done in well under an hour.
Please ensure that you close the cache box carefully after use. Previous containers have been eaten by animals and become flooded, so we'd like to try to keep this one dry! There are paperback books and other swaps in the box.The cache is very close to a path, so please be discreet and make sure that the cache is not visible when you leave it.
You can park in the National Trust visitors car park,( SO 68420 54948) where there is a pay & display machine. At the car park, there is a map showing the waymarked walks. Along the walks, you will spot several woodland sculptures, some more obvious than others! If the cafe/ shop is open, you may also get routemaps and refreshments. Try to time it so you can visit the Lower Brockhampton house at the bottom of the drive.
