in our disclaimer.
There has been some major logging in the area due to the storm last August. There is likely to be mud and water in places during the Spring and Fall.
You should plan to park in an established parking area at N45 02.989 W92 24.614.
The cache is now an ammo box. It contains all of the original usual small trade items and a log book.
This area is abundant with ducks and geese, turkeys, deer and other types of wildlife. This area is open to various types of hunting during the Fall, so please wear blaze orange or other highly visible clothing to be safe, when needed.
Our dogs, Shadow and Xena had a good time romping in the mud and freshly melted water ponds.
**Be aware that dogs are not allowed on State or Federal property in Wisconsin during the nesting seasons unless they are on a leash.**
