Enjoy this idyllic spot on the Hisarönü peninsula with its gület
boatyards in all directions. Old Turkish coins and a log are in a
film can protected with a plastic baggie. My partner Darsantre has
replaced the original cache container with one of a slightly larger
size and has copied the original names from the damaged log.
Warning : brambles, scratchy bushes, rough rocks to climb over.
Please bring your own pen. The cache is well hidden in some rocks
about 100 feet from a pedestrian pathway skirting the harbor. Have
a taste of Turkey as it was before the developers came along.
Note added 23 June, 2007: Pigling has averaged new coordinates
which may be better than those posted (it is about 12 m away)at N
36° 41.586 E 028° 02.353. Please let me know which set of
coordinates are more accurate and I will change if necessary.
