Today you will be visiting a place where several of my ancestors reside. It is a three part puzzle cache.
The above coordinates take you to the first part of the puzzle. It is the resting place of a lady who died in the year of our bicentenial. Using her sister's resting place next door, Add the years this lady was born and died to 197 to get degrees and hours of longitude, in the form AB BA. The minutes are ACB, where C is sum of last two digits of year of death.
Now go to N40 04.435 W076 12.375 . Find the resting place of a man whose initials are RPS. Add the 4 years on this headstone and subtract 155. This gives you degrees and hours of latitude in the form AB CD. The minutes are EEF where E is the first digit of the day of his birth, and F is the frist digit of the day of his death.
The cache is a Brown Cigar tube, with only a log inside. Please bring your own writing utensil.
Please try not to do this cache while church services are going on, and behave with proper respect while in the cemetary.
While here you might be interested in some of the old tombstones in this cemetary, as well as some of the neat newer ones.
