Geocache Description:

Near the top of the hill, please re-hide as found

Weag's Barn is set in 45 acres of meadow, grassland and valley woodland situated at the confluence of the rivers Hamps & Manifold. The name comes from the derelict barn at the top of the reserve from where you get wonderful views along the valley.

There is ample parking at the bottom of the Manifold Valley here N53 05.108 W001 51.130

If you would like a longer walk follow your arrow from the car park back to the road and cross the stile to your right. This will take you up the hill to the barn and the recently restored dew pond at
N53 04.947 W001 51.331 from there it is downhill to the cache.

Otherwise follow the tarmac road until you are almost level with the cache and cross the stile at that point.

Starting Contents are Staffordshire Wildlife Trust leaflets, Collins Complete British Wildlife Photoguide, Chalks, Tweenies Headband, Bubbles, Fimbles Crayons and some pens and badges.
