A microcache located along the Colinas Bluffs Trail that runs between Laguna Niguel and the San Juan Capistrano Wilderness area. The views are panoramic. Be aware of a drop-off nearby. The cache is NOT over the edge! You will need to bring a pen and possibly a pincer-type cache extraction tool.
6/16/08 Update: I have finally reached the right person in the City and have been told that this trail is absolutely a public trail and the signs saying otherwise should not be there. Cache on!
Trail access can be found via entries on Precipice, St. Croix, St. Christopher and other streets in between.
For a longer hike, or if you are on mountain bike or trailered your horse, park in the lot for the dog park next to the fire station on Golden Lantern and use the tunnel that goes under Golden Lantern.
