Located in the White Pond Conservation area on the Concord/Sudbury line. Well marked/well worn trails to the cache site. A 1.2 mile round trip.
Tired of having to solve quadratic equations and converting hexadecimals to find a cache? Or having to do library research on the wingspan of a prehistoric bird and adding that value to a partial lat/lon coordinate? Well not for this cache you won't, by George. Hence the title....or maybe the title is a clever double-entendre clue in itself. Hmmmm....
The Town of Sudbury has laid out very nice trails (marked with blue-spotted salamander blazes) on the Frost Farm conservation land to get you on your way. Maps of the area are in the mailbox, or if they are gone, use the West Conservation Trail shown on the trailhead map. PLEASE DO NOT park in, or cut through the Frost Farm Village private property.
After making your discovery, please make sure to replace camouflage, as muggles have been spotted in this popular hiking area. Enjoy the views of White Pond or continue along the west side of the pond on the RR bed trail for a nice hike.
We've started the cache off with trinkets primarily for girls (rings, hair scrunchies, hair clips, picture frame, ring box) but also added an old Buffalo Nickel.
