woodysix8: Happened to be in the area today and decided to check on the hideout as I do about once a month....well, it looks like some maintenance crews have been through the park clearing downed trees. Maybe some trail improvements are in the works...
When I arrived on scene, the hideout was nowhere in sight... my first thought was, it's hidden as well as usual.... NOPE.... I searched for a good 15 minutes and cleared the branches that had been thrown in the area. My next thought was that the GIANT stash might be in jeopardy.... I made my way and found several downed trees cut up and ready for removal.... When I approached the GIANT STASH, I was relieved to find out that it was hidden well and still in it's nest. I decided that it would be best to remove it now as I have been on the edge about archiving for several months now.
Thanks to all who have completed and attempted this cache. Sorry to those who were in process... especially those that I told I would get them through the second stage.
Zoinks, Wow.... this cache has been a blast.
I will be converting or removing the remaining stages over the next two weeks. I will also move the TB that was in the cache, as soon as I can.
I may even post the picture that Goldenhawk sent me of the hideout.... keep an eye out...
