One of a Kind Showplace.....The Only Petrified Forest in the Eastern United States

Take an unforgettable journey back in time to an ancient log jam deposited by a river from halfway across our young continent. You'll enjoy the many points of interest. This area was featured in a 1937 issue of National Geographic Magazine. Logs from the forest have been featured in the Smithsonian.
