Geocache Description:

The Manor House was built 1783-1784 by the cavalry officer and mill owner Peter Reinike Cederbauman and his wife Maria Fredrika Wernberg. The house remained in the ownership of the Cederbaum family and their descendants for ower 100 years.

This estate in new classical style with a history from the 18th century is a very beautiful cultural document. The estate structure is preserved unchanged. In the state apartment there are interesting murals, magnificent tiled stoves and delicate carpentry. The museum has also a fine book collection from the 1780´s and one of the largest collections of minerals in Sweden. Coffee shop and music café open in the summertime.

The cache is a small plastic box containing logbook, pencil and some small trading items.
