INDIANA SPIRIT
QUEST #171
”Green
Street Side Trip"
Welcome to the Lingeman Cemetery, Lincoln
Township, Hendricks County, in beautiful downtown Brownsburg.
The earliest grave at this site dates back to 1810 with most from
the 1850's era. The enterance is on the corner of an older
residential neighborhood. It appears as though there has been quite
a bit of vandalism at this site. The back of the cemetery sign
would indicate that an Eagle Scout project of Troop 303 helped to
restore the site back in 1977. I would say it is in need of some
help again, although the site is mowed and new flags have been
placed. This is worthwile visit to make.

Many of the stones have been tipped and broken
although most are still legible. A restoration project would work
wonders for this site.
The cache
container is is a small pill bottle . Please leave it at
least as well concealed, if not better, than you found it. If
you find fallen or worn US flags at the graves of veterans,
please take a moment to upright or replace them. Dispose of
worn US flags in a respectable manner. If you
find the coordinates to be a little off, do not hesitate to
post a waypoint with your log. As always, be
respectful, and cache in, trash out. God Bless our troops in
harm's way.

WARNING: FIND LOGS ON THIS CACHE THAT INDICATE
NIGHT CACHING WILL BE DELETED WITHOUT
NOTICE!
