Geocache Description:

A small park on a popular island.

When you visit a beach community, it typically has a particular “feel” to it. The atmosphere is laid back and the landscape is unlike that which is found inland.

As we were caching on the island, we discovered this particular park and decided to sit for a while. It became apparent that as we sat, it was very easy to forget that the beach was only a few hundred yards away. At times, it felt like we were sitting in the middle of a bustling urban area.

The City of Isle of Palms took a busy street corner and created a small greenspace for everyone to enjoy. It is located near several city government buildings.

The cache is a small container that only contains a log, so bring a PEN or PENCIL to sign the log.
