Geocache Description:

A micro cache located on the north side of Wallace harbour. Take the bridge across the harbour off of Route 6 towards the Gulf Shore and Fox Harbour. When you reach the crossroads on the other side of the harbour turn right and continue on the paved road. If you come to the end of the paved road you have gone too far. Cache is located near the road.

The cache is a 35 mm film canister with log sheet, stash note and pencils. This cache is placed in an area that was settled by United Empire Loyalists in 1784. It was once slated to become a large settlement but many settled across the harbour in what is now Wallace. The cairn will provide a detailed description. Park off the highway on the wide shoulder beside the habour.

A pretty and often busy area in summer. Take your time to look around these side roads and nearby caches. Enjoy!
