Pinellas Point is known for it's pink paved streets
!!YES PINK STREETS!!
We've heard all types of stories about why the streets are pink. A mistake, Bad curing, who knows?? do you know? Let's hear your story. Why are the streets pink. Post your answers with your find. Yes humor is always welcome.
This cache will have you searching those streets to locate a good spot to park before searching for the cache. There are 2 good areas to park and start from. You don't need to drive off of the pink pavement to park. After you leave the car the coords will take you through some open grass fields next to Tampa Bay. No these are not peoples back yards though you might wonder. For the experienced cacher it should be a pretty basic find. Cache has some small trade items quarter size or smaller. Happy caching.
FYI, Heavy rains can make area soggy for a few days, At times there are some ant mounds here. And if coming in the evening bring some repellent for the mosquitos.
