Geocache Description:

Located in a really nice forest preserve that has a paved loop running through it. Park at the Volmer Road picnic area entrance or even closer at 41° 32.132 087° 43.035 Once you find the cache you will need to solve a puzzle to log the find. No trade items please, TB's Ok.

We recently found a cache similar, though not identical to this one while caching in a different region. I had a similar idea a while back but we never executed it. The cache we recently found gave us many ideas to incorporate into this new cache.

Although you are initially looking for an painted ammo box, you have a puzzle to solve once you find it. It is possible that if you get stuck and cannot complete the puzzle and return it to its original state, it may need to be reset. If this happens please email me or log a note on the cache page and I will promptly reset it.

You cannot use any tools of any type to solve this puzzle. Everything you need is in the cache box. Due to the type of puzzle any trade items may be confused as pertaining to the puzzle, therefore no trade items please except travel bugs.
