Geocache Description:

You will find this cache in the East Bay hills very near a main part of the Redwood Trail.

If you come here on a blustery day you will understand the reason for the name. Gentle breezes cause the trees to audibly moan and cry, when the wind really picks up these tall slender giants actually bang loudly into one another.

There are at least three approaches for this site and all of them are part of great hikes. Try to make a day of it, combining a few of the caches in the area.

The cache is an ammo cannister hidden in plain sight and it contains about 20 items of higher caliber than the usual swag.
