An easy walk along the La Crosse River Marsh trails.
Part of the Green Bay & Western Railroad's service into La Crosse traversed trestles through the La Crosse River Marsh and became part of the RABBIT (River And Bluffs Bicentennial Intracity Trail) trail. Other parts of the trail were converted from the access roads to several City water supply wells. Take advantage of the terrific observation platforms. These platforms can provide a closer look at many migrants and water fowl that utilize our local wetland habitat. Schedule a hike to watch the muskrat, beaver, turtles, and frogs. The observation platforms are located in the marsh behind Myrick Park at the end of the east spur off the trail.
