The town’s name is Buena Vista which translates to means “good view”, and that is exactly what you will get when seeking this cache. From this elevated spot, you will be greeted with a view of the Mississippi River and the town itself below. Also, be sure to take a few moments to appreciate the grotto near the driveway entrance. The locals often refer to their town as “Buenie”.
The driveway to this overlook is quite steep so it is sometimes gated (especially in the winter when slippery). If the gates are closed, you can walk the driveway (0.2 miles uphill) to get to the cache area. Hours have now been posted 8am-8pm to access the area.
Cache is a plastic camouflaged lock'n'lock type container starting with high-quality cache prizes. Please return the cache to its original location and state of concealment since it has gone missing in the past. (Note: New coordinates and clue as of 05-22-2010.)
