Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of rural cemetery caches. Each one is done a little differently. Containers range from micros to ammo boxes. All are cammo’d pretty well. That’s what I do.

Personally, I like to explore these old cemeteries. They are rich in history and often hidden away on some back road. I’ll even do it at night. The hides are all respectful of the local “inhabitants”. If the thought of searching these areas does not appeal to you, then by all means, don’t hunt these hides. But if you are open to exploring new areas, then these are for you. OLD LANE PRAIRIE Despite the proximity to the railroad and other lands, this area has remained untouched for over 100 years. Civilization may be encroaching soon, though. I just can’t believe land in this fast growing area will remain pristine forever. Cache is a small can well covered.
