Geocache Description:

A nice walk in a very secluded section of beach, between the mouths of Connor Creek and the Copalis River. Approximately a 3 mile round trip on a secluded section of beach.

Connor Creek is a small stream that begins east of Ocean City and empties into the Pacific Ocean north of there. For many years, the Creek mouth was just north of Ocean City, but it has been migrating north rapidly for some time now. The mouth is now north of Copalis Beach and the Creek has cut off both beach access roads in Copalis.

This has created a wonderfully secluded section of beach between the mouths of Connor Creek and the Copalis River. It is generally difficult to access by vehicle, and the area is closed to driving from April 15 to the day after Labor Day each year.

Park at the end of Benner Road (N47 06.854 W124 10.774). You will follow the Creek out to the beach (don't get too close to the edge, as the Creek continuallly erodes the cliffs), then it's a nice walk along the shore to the mouth of the Copalis River. Your goal is a standard ammo can.
