This is a gentle stroll along a farm track all the way, through agricultural land.
Pick up the start of the track at N56.25.494/003.23.437. Just off the A94. At the end of New Scone village.
The district of Scone is of great historic interest, it was originally the site of a Pictish capital in AD 843.
The New Village of Scone was only founded in 1805 when the then Earl of Mansfield decided to move the original village a little further from his new palace he was building. It
has now become a very popular place to live and there are many walks here both through woods and farmland.
Follow the farm track along an avenue of mature Ash Trees, with crop fields to either side. The cache is only a small lock/lock box containing a few swaps.
Edit. 29.10.05.......
You do not need to climb over the new fence, the box has been moved along slightly.
