This cache is a small plastic container with some usual swaps and a log
River Lee cycle ride is a series of caches along the river towpath or slightly off the track. This set of caches start from Stone Bridge Lock, Tottenham. Heading North, and ends near Enfield Lock. This is a distance of about Six miles. There is a collection of Tupper boxes and Micros, along the route. I set these caches whilst cycling along the route. But there are parking places near to most of the cache sites and a short walk to the cache.
The River towpath is part of the London cycling campaign and is on a traffic free route. The paths are very cycle friendly.
Cycling on towpaths is allowed, but you should obtain a free cycling permit from British Waterways Telephone: 020 7286 6101. They will direct you to www.waterscape.com where you can download your free permit. (Done it). All you will need to supply is an email address and your name.
As some of these caches are Micros, and contain just the log. So bring with you a pen or pencil.
