Located in the New York Welcome Center rest area on I-81
Northbound. Park in the Visitors Center parking lot and it will be
a short trot up the hill behind.
This is a camouflaged ammo box. It's purpose is to help get
travel bugs going in the right direction and accomplish their goals
more efficiently. If you have a Travel Bug (TB) with a specific
direction to go, drop it here with a note as to which way to give
it a ride. Since this will not be accessible for southbound
traffic, you might want to limit your deposit to TBs going only
North, East, or West. NY Route 17 (Future I-86) East and West will
be right ahead about 5 miles. I-88 east (toward Albany) starts just
past the NY 17 interchange as well.
If you know the mission of a geocoin or TB that does not have an
accompanying sheet, please write the goal in the log. Let's try to
assist in the request of the TB owners.
