Geocache Description:

This is one of 5 micro caches taking you on a walking tour around Mount Vernon. MV Walking Tour #1: “A Place to Read” (GCNK0J) has the walking instructions.

This series of caches was placed as a gift for my granddaughter’s 10th birthday in 2005. It was almost a year earlier that she made the request and suggested doing a puzzle that needed to have people put pieces together to find the solution. I hope you enjoy the caches – she will be watching for your logs. While the final puzzle cache and one of the 6 original micros have been archived, the other 5 micro caches remain to be found. I suggest a great walk around the town with its many interesting little shops to find this series of caches. This cache site is by a mini-park in the heart of Mount Vernon. My granddaughter and I decided that this tree looked most like a group of giraffes checking out the area.
