As with "Give Peace A Chance", there is no underlying political message in this placement.
The coordinates will take you to a flag pole and the cache is located within 20 feet of the pole.
Everyone knows someone who has served our country. This cache is in a peaceful place with reminders of five great conflicts. It memorializes those people who served and lost their life either in service or later.
You will be looking for a decon container which contains only a log, pencil and a few spirit pins for the taking. You need not leave anything unless it is small and hopefully patriotic.
We would very much like for you to take a few moments from your day (or night) to reflect on the freedom we enjoy here and what it takes to preserve it. If possible, make a note in the log book concerning someone you may have known or lost who fits the profile of those honored here.
