Clark Reservation State Park is a geologic wonder of the last ice age and a botanist's paradise. The park's natural features include rugged cliffs, woodland and meadow, a wetland and a glacial plunge basin lake. Click here for more information.
Clark Reservation is home to rare and endangered plants - bushwhacking is not allowed (please stay on the trails). This cache can be found without leaving the trail. There are several ways to get to this cache – the shortest route is the Cliff Trail, with a spectacular ledge overlook 175 feet above the water along the way. Your GPSr may tell you to jump off a cliff – be patient and you’ll find a switchback trail a little further along on your right that will take you to within arms reach of this cache. There's no need to leave the trail or climb over the cliff to get to this cache - stay on the trails!!
Please note that this is a small cache (decon container) - only small trades (coins, pins/buttons, etc) will fit! Please bring your own pen or pencil to sign the log. Please re-hide the cache the way you found it, so that it is not visible to muggles on the trail. Congratulations to Hubbye for being the First-to-Find - enjoy the geocaching hat/lapel pin!
There are five caches at Clark Reservation – if you want to find them all in one day, allow a couple of hours and be sure to pick up a free trail map, or print the map attached as a photo below!
