This is #2 in the Allegany County Series. It is located in the town of Allen, in the 2332 acre Gillies Hill State Forest.
Allen is a town in the north central part of Allegany County. It is composed of four hamlets: West Allen, Allen Center, Aristotle and State Road. The town has a population of 462, and was named to honor Ethan Allen a Revolutionary War hero.
The terrian rating is due to no trail, it is hiking in the woods with a gradual elevation change. Parking is avaiable on Terwilinger Road off Number One Road. Parking coordinates are N 42.21.683 W 077.58.223.
