I would recommend parking in Monton where there is a free car
park which is protected with security cameras. This can be found at
53° 29.473N, 002° 21.086W [SJ 76780 99453]
On foot Exit the car park and turn right up the high street
towards the roundabout. Cross the road at the roundabout to the
shelter on the other side onto Broad Oak Road a short walk up Broad
Oak Road leads to a public footpath which crosses Worsley Golf
Club. Walk up this foot path to where it splits and take the left
hand branch straight across the top end of the golf course. Follow
this path until it comes onto Chatsworth Road, turn left onto
Chatsworth Road and follow that for a very short distance down a
hill to a footpath sign. Join this footpath and from there I think
let your GPS do the talking.
The cache contains the following items:
Logbook and Pencil c/w rubber and a sharpener. Padlock and keys,
3 balloons, UV marker pen, mini keyring calculator, clip, 3 x
paperclips, mini craft pegs, and a thimble.
A nice walk back to your car is along the line in a southerly
direction back towards Monton village.
