A short easy walk through a wooded area. Some slightly steep inclines and a little muddy at times, but nothing excessive.
The Quakers' Graves are two large sandstone flags set into the path which runs through Burton Wood behind St. Nicholas' church. They have now been railed off to prevent wear and tear from unknowing feet as much of the inscription has worn away - all that remains is 'The Body of ELL... 1663'.
They were originally sited centrally across the footpath, supposedly so that 'those who stood on their hearts whilst they were alive might trample on their heads in death'! Charming!
Once you've found the cache, why not have a wander down the path to St. Nicholas' church for a look at a rather quirky little feature of it - the tower clock has only one hand. Still manages to tell the time OK though!
The cache is a tupperware style container in a camouflage bag. It is within 2 metres of the path and there is no need to go over any walls or fences to reach it.
