Geocache Description:

This cache is located along Old Rt. 66 in Towanda, Illinois. It is a quick trip off of I-55.

You can park at the F/S gas station and take a nice walk on the Rt. 66 path. It has small gardens and information billboards about Rt. 66 along the way. Or you can park closer at the park and have a shorter walk. You will be looking for a gallon camouflaged water jug. This is what I'll call a kids cache. It was made easy to find. Also, it is near historic Rt.66 so kids can learn about our motoring history. The cache has small toys hopefully for boys and girls. Take a toy leave a toy.

Please, do not destroy any plants. Look carefully.
