Once upon a time, a colony of fairies lived in the Clearwater Forest. They lived there peacefully for eons. Eventually, the area was discoered by miners, and the fairies welcomed the miners, and the two groups enjoyed swapping tales and dancing around the campfires by night. Eventually, the miners left the area; whether they simply failed to find their riches, or there was a disagreement with the fairies and were driven out, no one knows. We've marked a spot in honor of both the fairies and the miners.
Perhaps if you find it, and you're lucky, you'll spot a fairy watching you or hear tiny giggles in the brush.
Be sure to bring your picnic lunch, but we suggest eating at the spot you park your car, so the fairies can't get at it. And bring your camera, in case you catch a glimpse of one! This cache may not be accessible in the cold and dreary winter months without proper equipment.
