This cache has been archived.

Marko Ramius: Since there does not appear to have been any response to the logs posted to this cache page, I can only assume that the cache owner is either MIA or is not willing or able to perform normal maintenance on this listing. Accordingly, I am archiving the listing to remove it from search pages and to allow for new caches in this area. If you would like to correct the issues for this cache, you can either create a new cache page or send me an e-mail with the GCxxxx code for this cache listing and I will un-archive it and review it again.

Thank you for your understanding and for your contributions to Geocaching.

Geocache Description:

Like the legendary "Elephant burial ground" where all elephants secretly went to die, car parts and tools and clothing all find themselves stranded at the side of the highway, only to end up in this cache. A cache full of Ustabeez.

Everyday you see a constuction hard hat or a length of rope lying on the side of some road. Sometimes it's a pair of pliers or even a hammer. You make a note to stop and to get them on some calm slow weekend, only to discover they are gone the next day. What fool would stop just to pick up a piece of chain or the ratchet on the side of the road?

That would be me. Someone has to rescue these things, right?

This cache contains some of the treasures I have found, including the five gallon bucket and lid. I did include one container of new goodies for the squeemish. Bring me your finds, but please, do not bring any food or frisbee critters from the roadside. Do not haul in that old refrigerator if it won't fit inside the 5 gallon bucket. I had to pass on a perfectly good twinkie myself recently. Nothing that would stink or ruin the cache for others. You will find the cache 187 feet off the road, so park and walk to it please.

You know the rules- Trade down, trade even, or don't trade at all, just sign the log book.
The cache contains magic pennies, all of which were run over by a 1957 Thunderbird and curse by an injured pedestrian. Take one if you want to turn an acquaintance into road rash.
