Geocache Description:

Take a drive through the country to find this geocache. The cache is located along Fern Ridge, where I frequently take two dogs for a walk. Although these are not "coon hunting" dogs as described in the book Where the Red Fern Grows, they like pretending to be "fresh on the trail" of some hunted prey.

You’re looking for an ammo can. No bushwacking please as you can see the cache without moving anything. Please respect private property by not crossing any fence lines. There’s a decent place to park along the side of the road about 400 yards (0.23 mi) west of the cache. Please use caution to stay near the side of the road while walking. Although the road is not traveled by many, there is no posted speed limit and some of the locals take advantage of it.
