Mostly driving - a short walk (15 minutes each way) at the end over relatively easy terrain.
This is a theme multi-cache about interesting places in St. John's that are related to engineering. There are 5 sets of coordinates including the initial cache and the final cache. You'll need a vehicle, a pencil and calculator.
At the first location you'll find a plastic container with instructions. Please take ONE set of instructions and don't leave anything. You'll need to use the information on the instructions to find the remainder of the sites.
At each site you'll need to do a few quick calculations based on information you'll obtain in the area to figure out the next set of coordinates. It may take about 2-3 hours, mostly driving, from the first set of coordinates to the final cache.
The final cache is a medium sized plastic container and contains a log book, pencils and sharpeners and various engineering/construction related items:
Toy cell phone
Gold metal ruler
Safety compass
Key chain with assorted bits
Small measuring tape
Measuring tape with level
Carpentry pencil
Various construction signs
Cement truck
3 Construction vehicles
2 protractors
2 small plastic rulers
4 set squares
2 plastic compasses
This is my first attempt at planting a cache so please be patient. I did complete a trail-run and everything worked so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Happy caching!!
