Todoroki-no-Taki, where the cache is located, is the main fall
of a series of waterfalls called Todoroki Kujuku Taki, and is the
largest fall in the Shikoku region. The mountain is equipped with
rock climbing gear for those who prefer to take the hard way up,
and provides a prominade for tourists who wish to hike to the other
falls. The distance from Todoroki-no-Taki and the upper-most fall,
Nabewari-no-Taki, is about 1500 meters and a round trip takes about
2 hours.
This can either be a quick cache stop while on the way to
somewhere else since the cache is only about a two minute walk from
your car, or this can be a relaxing day-long adventure for the
family. The waters are cool and refreshing but spiders and
mosquitos guard the falls so bring bug spray!
Lots of tree cover here so it will make keeping a signal on your
GPS difficult. My GPS was fluctuating when I took the coords, so
take the hint to use if you need.
