A short boat ride to Minnie Island in Gardner Lake
Minnie Island is a small island in the middle of Gardner Lake in Salem CT. It is actually the smallest state park in Connecticut! Due to the severe lack of caches in this area, I though this would be a good spot to place one. Park at the boat launch off of Old Colchester Road/Route 354 in Salem and off you go. Bring a fishing pole and enjoy this beautiful lake with the family.
