Geocache Description:

This cache will take you to Merrits Corners Cemetery, located in the Town of Parish. Park on the road at N 43*11.379 W 076* 07.438. Walk up the makeshift steps and look around this cemetery. Here you will see sixteen graves marked by scattered field stones and four graves that are marked with small stones that are barely legible.

The cache is not located in the cemetery, but it is close by. I just wanted you to see this historic rural cemetery, one of the oldest I have seen so far.

I named this cache "Reptile Refuge" because you will find it is located in an area that would be a haven for reptiles. Snakes, lizzards, frogs, toads and any kind of creepy crawly things would be quite happy hanging out at the cache site. The cache is a traditional ammo box filled with all kinds of squirmy things!

Please make even trades!

DANGER!!! It has been brought to my attention that there are Bees nesting in the scary looking "witches tree" that is located near the cache site. You do NOT have to go near this tree to find the cache.

note: The cache is located on private property and posted as such. I have personally met with the landowner. He knows what we are doing and has given us permission to do so.

Congratulations to "Team Position Police" for a FTF!
