Take your Pick Traditional Cache
pooh tig and lala: this was the first we ever set, but sadly its gone missing so we thought its time to let this one go and open the area up to other cachers keen to set a new cache

This cache can be found via two routes.
The first by visiting the local 'Pick your Own' farm shop which has a gift section,restaurant called The Snoring Owl,Ice cream parlour and cheese counter. Of course you can 'pick your own' seasonal fruit(hence the name of this cache) while you are there, or visit the Maize maze in the summer months.
This is private land though so it is a DOG FREE ZONE.
The views from the top of the hill are worth the climb and they have provided a seat!
The second route, which is a public footpath, we assume can be used by dog walkers and can be found by parking in the layby opposite the River Valley Golf Club.
Recent developments have greatly improved the restaurant area and facilities, however I am not sure if they still do 'pick your own'.
It has been said that a childrens petting farm is being set up with rabbits, alpacas and more. I hope this comes true as it would be a lovely place to bring small children.
