This cache is an item that no Marine would be without. It contains a pencil and a log and room for very small items. It also has a First to Find Item.
This cache is dedicated to Tom Heeney, who is 95 years old and the oldest naval orange grower in the Redlands area. To give you an understanding as to why the groves are disappearing, his last crop picked grossed $38,000.00 and the packing house sent him a check for a total of $4,000.00. It's a real shame.
Tom just passed away and will be missed by both friends and family. To say he lived a full life would not do justice to him. I will never forget him.
You can park within a few feet of the cache.
