On The Rocks at Heywood Traditional Cache

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of On The Rocks at Heywood to find out about the status of this cache on 10/19/2006. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me through my profile to do so.

Geocache Description:

Parking for this cache is at: N 42 29.034 W 071 46.630.
The trail into the cache can be muddy after it has rained. Please be very careful on the rocks as they can be slippery.

This is my favorite place to walk. The view all along the trail is great. The cache is near the begining of a nice walk in the woods. There is plenty of wildlife in the area. Be careful if you bring your dog along for the walk as there are a lot of porcupines in the area. If your are quiet you may see deer and wild turkeys. For those who find this cache in the fall, the fall colors are outstanding. I do not reccomend finding this cache in the winter. It is very steep near the cache and it gets very icy in the winter.
The cache is a small rubbermaid container. So please only bring small items to trade. The original contents of the cache are: golf club church key, can cozy from NHIS, pedometer, dollar coin, kids ring, super ball, Jillians token, set of AA batteries.
